Confirmation
The coming of the Spirit.
Acts 2:1-4
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together.
And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were.
Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
The normal age for youth to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in our diocese is 8th or 9th grade, and in our parish it is normally celebrated in the spring of a child’s 8th grade year. All youth are expected to participate in a two-year Sacramental Program to prepare for this reception. For more information, please contact:

Adults are normally expected to participate in an abridged form of the O.C.I.A. (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) program in order to prepare them for the reception of the sacrament. For more information, please contact:
